Developing students' key competences is a hot topic in the current field of education.Key competences is a comprehensive reflection of students' knowledge,skills,emotions,attitudes,values and other aspects,which is of great help to students' learning and development as well as their adaptation to the society.Through in-depth study of the relevant development background of key competences,how to implement the teaching of junior middle school information technology subject on the basis of cultivating students' subject key competences is an issue that information technology teachers need to consider.Therefore,it is necessary to reform and innovate the teaching methods of information technology subject and cultivate students' core quality in the teaching process.This research according to the "ordinary high school information technology curriculum standard"(2017)the main contents of revision,by analyzing and interpreting information technology subject the connotation of key competences,information technology subject core literacy as training goal,the carrier is a junior high school information technology course,and the exploratory teaching as the way,through the inquiry teaching process to foster the core of information technology literacy.All aspects of inquiry teaching design,including the choice of teaching content,the formulation of teaching objectives and the implementation of teaching strategies,will integrate the components of the core quality of information technology disciplines and become a bridge to communicate teaching theory and practice.There are six parts in this paper: the first part is the introduction,which mainly puts forward the background of the problem research and the research status of the core quality of related subjects and the inquiry teaching design at home and abroad,and expounds the theoretical significance and practical significance;The second part defines the key competences,discipline key competences,information technology discipline key competences,inquiry teaching and other concepts,and expounds the theoretical basis of this study from the four aspects of constructivism learning theory,discovery learning theory,situational cognition theory and meaningful learning theory.The third part makes a clear analysis of the suitability of inquiry teaching to cultivate the core quality of information technology discipline.The fourth part studies the inquiry teaching design of junior high school information technology based on the discipline core accomplishment.It discusses the principle of inquiry teaching design,preliminary analysis of inquiry teaching,inquiry teaching activity design and inquiry teaching evaluation design respectively.In the fifth part,teaching practice is carried out on the basis of teaching design,taking "automatic calculation with cyclic program structure" as an example to carry out teaching,and the classroom effect is analyzed,and the existing problems and solutions in the teaching process are expounded.The sixth part is the summary and prospect of the achievement of the thesis.This research can not only enrich the teaching theory of information technology to a certain extent,expand the teaching design research of information technology discipline,but also improve the teaching effect and optimize the learning process.The practice of inquiry teaching case not only helps to cultivate students' judgment on the value of information,enable them to adapt to the digital learning environment and master the digital learning tools effectively,but also cultivate students' innovation ability and sense of responsibility for information society,so that students have a higher awareness of information security.
