Investigation And Research On Experiments Teaching Of Senior Middle School In Jiangyin City

Physics is an experimental science.The teaching of experiment is involved in the entire process of the senior high school physics teaching.Physics experiments are not only the important foundation but also the important content of the senior high school physics teaching.The department of educational administration and the front-line physics teachers have realized the importance of the physics experiments teaching since the beginning of the reformation of new curriculum in JiangSu province.The experiments teaching attached more and more importance.I took Jiang Yin city as a sample and conducted an exhaustive investigation and studies on the physics experiments teaching in senior high school.I want to submit a reliable report about the experiments teaching and offer some proposal to every school and the department of educational administration when they make decisions.I also want to offer the true state of the physics teaching to researchers of education to promote the reformation and the further research of physics teaching.Research methods adopted are text analyzing, questionnaire investigation, interview to teachers and students,spot investigation, and so on.I spent two years on the exhaustive investigation and study on all aspects of physics experiments teaching of the five senior middle school which I selected as sample.These investigation and study include physics experiments teaching conditions(including laboratory and laboratory items), laboratory assistant, experiments motivation of teachers and students, teaching of demonstrative experiments, experiment lessons with the students in groups, and so on.There are five chapters on these study in this thesis.Research shows:more investment in the experiment conditions is needed in every school, excellent laboratory assistants are in urgent needed, experiments motivation of teachers and students need to be enhanced, many problems are exist in the teaching of demonstrative experiments, the experiment lessons with the students in groups and the exploitation of experiments resource.This suggests that:there is a lot of space for the improvement of the physics teaching of senior middle school and a long way frome the success of educational reform,we must pay more attention to the teaching of experiments.
