Located between Beijing and Tianjin, Langfang City of Hebei Province, in 2006 proposed the construction of "Central States Sports Leisure Circle," the strategic vision for economic development ushered in Langfang, a golden opportunity. In recent years, As people's overall living standard in Langfang City has been improving, more and more intense demands on health, consequently health clubs spring up as a new form of sports organizations and become popular for its quality, comprehensive and unique fitness service. Consumer group as the club member, plays a decisive role in the club development. Thus, the study on current situation of health clubs, the structure of fitness groups and sports groups, and their demands is important to advanced the sound development of health clubs in Langfang City and to meet the people's demand for healthy life and scientific fitness and to improve the fitness market system in Langfang city.In this paper, with a total of 1000 fitness consumers and 14 managers in 10 fitness-oriented clubs in Anci District, Guang Yang District and Economic Development Zone as the investigation subjects, by way of query documents, questionnaires, logical analysis, expert interviews, a variety of research tools and mathematical statistics, based on the analysis of current operating conditions of Langfang City fitness club and the consumption structure of fitness groups,and consumer demand, I put forward some countermeasures for reference in order to achieve the the development of health clubs in Langfang City . The results are as follows: 1, Langfang City fitness club business condition is in general, currently there are only a total of 14 clubs in operation in the three districts, only seven of them in the earnings; less large scale clubs and more medium-sized clubs, while there are no large and well-known brands chain of health clubs. 2, female members in the fitness club are a little more than the male; most of the choices focus on collective aerobics and fitness equipment; the age of the members is mostly the youth and little the elderly and little children; the education of the members is on high level most are undergraduates becoming the main fitness force; as to the occupation, most are students and managers in enterprises, teachers, medical technicians come second; as to incomes, its member's income is mainly concentrated on the monthly income of 1000-3000 yuan which is moderate to consume on sport. 3, there is an unreasonable consumption structure, too large relative proportion of consumption is in kind, the proportions of participatory sports consumption is small and the smallest for watching the type of sports consumption. Consumption in kind is mainly in clothing purchases, reflecting the spending power of consumer groups in Langfang City gym is weak and is not synchronized with economic development. 4, member's fitting concepts in Langfang City gym is not advanced enough and the pursuit of fitness is not high, still remaining in the diet fitness level. 5, the software and hardware in the clubs always come first when the member make choices; the fitness programme is appropriate to open 3-4, preferably multiple sets in one form; certain requirements go to the fitness surroundings the most important is better health services; member's satisfaction with the current level of coaches and the price of contributions...
