Scientific method education has became a extremely focus in science curriculum reform at present. Chemical textbooks are the core of chemistry curriculum. It is the necessary step that presents scientific method in textbook. The choice, layout, presentation of scientific in a textbook is essential for the scientific method education.The thesis is composed of three parts:First part is the preface, namely the first chapter. This part includes the origin of the thesis, the research direction, purpose and value.The second part is the main body of the thesis, namely the second, third, fourth and fifth chapters. This part consists of three portions. Firstly, according to the choice of Chinese junior middle school chemistry curriculum and foreign curriculum standard of scientific method, the thesis discusses whether the choice of scientific methods is properly. Secondly, the thesis discusses the layout situation of all kinds of the scientific methods in our current textbooks meticulously. The thesis summarizes all kinds of scientific method respectively in layout flaws. The thesis analyzes the arrangement of the scientific method. Thirdly, the thesis discusses the present situation of all kinds of the scientific method and summarizes advantages and disadvantages.The third part is the conclusion. In this part, the thesis summarizes the conclusions, then the further work is discussed in detail.The object of the study is compulsory educational chemical experimental textbooks which are published by Shanghai education press. This thesis mainly uses the research methods of literature and content analysis to discuss all sorts of scientific method in selection, layout and presents and gets the corresponding conclusions:Firstly, the choice of scientific method in textbooks disciplines characteristic and conforms to the students'cognitive development characteristics. But the experimental method is not typical. The form method is not directional. The chart method is not universal. Secondly, the layout of scientific method in textbooks accords with comprehensive principle and long-term principle. But the layout doesn't reflect the sequence principle. Scientific method and chemistry history are not integrated well. Teaching materials don't play a role in promoting. Thirdly, the present of scientific method in the textbooks takes dominant and recessive combination method. But the representation is single. The text and problem sets appear less. The set lacks of the process and the method.
