The Research On The Retired Athletes' Life Satisfaction And Social Support Of Shenyang

The retired athletes'work, study, and life have always been the more concerned national issues. The life, work, health of the retired athletes not only related to the development of in-service athletes, the reservation of the sports talent, but the overall development of our national sports as well.In this paper, the retired athletes of Shenyang are the study objects. Trying to take the natural background into account, such as gender, age, educational level, occupation, personal income, marital status,183 subjects were selected as the survey sample in Shenyang and as the survey of life satisfaction and social support. During the course of the study, the main methods used in the research are documentation method, psychological measurement method, case analysis method and data analysis method. At the same time, the author use the experts'investigation method to interview the sports administrators, the coaches of the professional team and the retired athletes, as to make a deep research on existing problems of their living conditions, work or learning conditions, physical conditions and mental health condition. Conclusions are as follows:(1) The results show the life satisfaction of retired athletes is in a relatively low level. The life satisfaction of retired athletes and the social support showed a positive correlation. (2) There are some differences between the life satisfaction and the social support according to the different gender, age, educational level of retired athletes. It shows that older age and higher education followed the higher life satisfaction and social support, that is the older and higher education can get higher life satisfaction and more social support. (3) There are differences in life satisfaction and social support of retired athletes who have different marital status. It shows that life satisfaction and the objective support level of the marriage group of retired athletes are higher than the unmarriageable groups. There are differences in life satisfaction and social support of different levels of retired athletes, that is, the higher level the retired athletes get, the higher life satisfaction and social support the retired athletes have.(4) The life satisfaction and social support of popular item retired athletes are better than the less popular items ones. Having job is better than no job. All these reflect that the different economic income has the different effects on life satisfaction and social support, higher economic income with higher life satisfaction and higher social support.For the above conclusions, there are some specific recommendations:(1) enhance the awareness of retired athletes'self-protection (2) make a good carrier training plan of Retired Athletes (3) improve various protection systems of retired athletes (4) broaden the channels of retired athletes're-employment.
