Every one wants to live leisurely and satisfactorily and pursue theirgoal constantly as well. Self-esteem, social support and life satisfaction,which will be different in different stages of life, have the close relation.This paper mainly explores the correlation and state amongself-esteem, social support and life satisfaction of the unemployed. Thetarget is the trainees who studied at the government institutions, whichprovide the occupation training courses for the unemployed. 350 traineeswere selected from 3 institutions and the research was tested by thestatistic means of descriptive statistics, t-test and Pearson Correlations.The result clearly showed that: a) Self-esteem and social support forthe unemployed in Macau showed lower scores, b) There is an obviouscorrelation between life satisfaction and self-esteem. The one with thehigh quality of life has the high self-esteem, c) There is an obviouscorrelation between social support and self-esteem. High self-esteemcomes with high social support, d) The score of life satisfaction of maleis higher than of the female, e) The middle aged unemployed have thelowest life satisfaction.
