The reason that we call minority education as minority education, just because comparing with national education and rural education, it has peculiarity. The representation of the peculiarity is not that the educate belongs to Han ethnic group or national minority, but the difference on education contents and cultural nature. Minority education takes root in the minority culture, so it resolves that the essential mission of the basic education is nurture men of talent,come down culture and the development of all nations. So in the research I insist that the value orientation of minority basic education should pitch on the achievement of overall education for people and coming down the culture. But beyond social instrument orientation of the system of education, the basic education shows that the deficiency of coming down culture and absent of the men in the education. So we must find the reason of the value orientation deviation of minority basic education and construct the ideal value orientation of minority basic education.The full text is divided into four parts:Part 1:introduce.this section:describes the research origin, research methods and research purposes and the domestic and foreign relevant research and important concept.Part 2:the sketch of investigation of Mengzhe Town, about its geography, economy, culture and education;Part 3:the real situation of the value orientation deviation of minority basic education in Southwest. In two respects:One is the deficiency of coming down culture beyond the social instrument orientation of the education; The other is the absent of the men in the education beyond the social instrument orientation of the education;Part 4:the reason of the value orientation deviation of the basic education in Southwest aera. It has four reasons:historical factor, school-related factor and social factor;Part 5:the regression of the ideal value orientation of minority basic education in Southwest. Establish the ideal value orientation of minority basic education, it should be the achievement of overall education for people and coming down the culture. First, development multicultural curriculum, establishes the course evaluation system; Second, Cultivating multi-culture national teachers, improve multicultural literacy; Third, pay attention to the nation school campus cultural construction; Fourth, Enlarge the subject of national culture inheritance.
