The work value of special elementary school teachers is the cognitive disposition and the value judging to their job, it not only influence their work motivation, work ethic and the loyalty to the job. The subjective well-being (SWB)of teachers is an important factor of measuring a person s psychological condition and the quality of living,the SWB of special elementary school teachers not only have effects on their enthusiasm in work,but also influent the teachers decision whether staying in the special education post.In recent years, there has already been some research on teachers work values and subjective sense of well-being. But the research on the work values and the subjective sense of well-being of special elementary school teachers has been seldom concerned. This research, through the investigation on the work values.and subjective well-being of teachers in special elementary school, we explore the relationship between the work values and subjective well-being, according the investigation, we provide some suggestions to the education of special elementary school teachers.This research has an important significance to enrich the research on special education in our country, promote special elementary teachers' professional growth and improve their SWB and life quality.Through the study, we found some conclusions as follow:â… .The self edited Special Elementary School Teachers Work Value Scale has a good reliability and validity. It meets the psychological demands, we can use it as the measurement tool in the area of this study.â…¡.Generally, special primary school teachers work values is positive, the order of rating of all dimensions given by teachers is:security-stability, interpersonal relationship, altruism-dedication, professional development, material reward.â…¢. The female teachers of special primary school pay more attention to the security &stability orientation and interaction orientation, and the difference is significant; The special elementary teachers of undergraduate degree concern on material reward dimensions significantly higher than that of other qualifications; Title undetermined special education teachers in primary school pay more attention to the professional development than other teachers,and the difference is significant; Teachers who have worked for over 10 years pay more attention to interpersonal orientation,teaching experience 1-5 years of special primary school teachers pay more attention to career development orientation; unmarried teachers pay value higher on material orientation and career development orientation than married teachers; teachers of monthly income less than 2.000RMB pay more attention to material reward orientation.â…³.The overall level of special primary school teachers SWB is higher.Subjective well-being scores in all dimensions in order were:growth and progress of experience> experience family atmosphere> target value experience> self-acceptance experience>interpersonal experience> psychology balance experience>social confidence experience>mental health experience>health experience>contentment ample experience.â…´. SWB of female special primary school teachers is higher than male teachers. Female teachers in the content with sufficient experience and self-acceptance experience and interpersonal experience dimensions significantly higher than male teachers; teachers of undergraduate degree in the target value experience and the social confidence experience are significantly higher than the other qualifications of teachers; teachers of senior title in the contentment sufficient experience and target value experience higher than others; married teachers in the contentment sufficient experience and growth and progress of experience are significantly higher than unmarried teachers; teachers of monthly salary 4000-5000 yuan in contentment ample experience are significantly higher than teachers in other income.â…µ. There are significant positive relation between special elementary school teachers' work value and the sense of subjective well-being. The special elementary teachers work values predicting the sense of subjective well-being.
