In order to implement the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee opinions for Promoting the construction of new socialist countryside and encouraging the employment of college graduates,aiming at the problems of teacher resource scarcity,structural imbalance and poor professional quality in rural compulsory education stage,Our country,started in 2006,implemented ‘the special post set plan for school teachers of rural compulsory education stage in west counties which have basically implemented nine-year compulsory education and eliminated illiteracy among young adults,recruiting openly college graduates as teachers in schools of compulsory education stage in poor areas.In June 2015,the expansion for the implementation scale of the special post plan has been emphasized in Rural teachers support program(2015-2002),released by the General Office of the State Council.Our country pay more and more attention to the special post teachers,however,the researches on the psychological perspective for this group are relatively less.Because the importance of the special post teachers for our country’s rural education,the group has been paid more attention by the state,however the researches for them in psychological perspective,especially mental health,are relatively less.Previous researches show that the marriage question is the main factor of the special post teachers’ resignation.Most of the special post teachers are college graduates whose ages are marriageable,so the problem of marriage also affects the job satisfaction and the sense of happiness to a certain extent。Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationship among the marriage attitude,job satisfaction and subjective well being of the special post teachers,and then propose the targeted recommendations to improve their mental health.This research adopts the methods of quantitative research and qualitative research.The quantitative research part selected 275 special post teachers as the experimental group and 171 normal teachers as the control group,and collected data of relevant variables by using “Marital attitude scale(MAS)”compiled by Brateen et al,“Teacher job satisfaction scale “compiled by Bolin Feng et al,and “General subjective well-being scale(GWB)” compiled by National Center for health statistics of U.S.A.Based on the data,the studies analyze the status of the special post teachers’ attitude towards marriage,job satisfaction and subjective well being,the difference of them in demography variables,and the comparison with ordinary teachers.Thequalitative research interviewed 13 special post teachers in telephone as the supplement the results of quantitative research part.The conclusions are as follows:1.The Special post teachers’ marriage attitude is very positive in general.The demographic variables of age,marriage status,job-switching attention and wage income have a respectively significant impact to the one or more dimensions of marital attitude.2.The Special post teachers’ job satisfaction is in the up-middle level in general.The demographic variables of gender,normal students-or-not,province,job-switching attention,marriage status,cause of being special post teacher have a respectively significant impact to one or more dimensions of job satisfaction.3.The total score of subjective well-being of male special post teachers were slightly lower than the national norm scores and the total score of subjective well-being of female special post teachers was slightly higher than the national norm scores.The marriage status,job-switching attention,wage income,cause of being special post teacher have a respectively significant impact to one or more dimensions of subjective well-being.4.The scores on working strength and relationship with leaders dimensions of the special post teachers are significantly higher than that of the ordinary teachers,and the scores on self evaluation of marriage,wage income and care for health dimensions of the former lower than that of the latter.5.There is a significant correlation between the three aspects of marriage attitude,job satisfaction and subjective well being of the special post teachers.And the marital attitude and job satisfaction had significant positive predictive effect on subjective well-being.6.Job satisfaction plays a partial mediating role between marital attitudes and subjective well-being,that is to say,the marriage attitude of the special post teachers influences the subjective well-being through the mediating role of job satisfaction.
