The imbalance between the male and female ratio of primary and secondary school teachers has attracted the attention of scholars from all walks of life since the beginning of the 20 th century.However,the current situation of primary and secondary school teachers "yin sheng yang shuai" has not been changed so far and has a tendency to continue to expand.Previous studies have found that low job satisfaction is an important factor that results in a small number of male teachers.From the perspective of boundary theory,this study,from the perspective of the relationship among work,family and individual,deeply explores the factors that affect the job satisfaction of male teachers in primary and secondary schools and their influencing mechanisms,and provides strategies and suggestions for improving the job satisfaction level of male teachers in primary and secondary schools and further improving the enrollment rate of male teachers in primary and secondary schools.762 male teachers in primary and secondary schools were investigated by questionnaire.The results are as follows:(1)The job values of male teachers in primary and secondary schools can significantly predict their job satisfaction level;(2)The work-family enrichment of male teachers in primary and secondary schools plays a full mediating role in the relationship between work values and job satisfaction.(3)Boundary flexibility can adjust the relationship between work values and work-family enrichment of male teachers in primary and secondary schools,and boundary flexibility can significantly adjust the mediating effect of work-family enrichment between work values and job satisfaction.Based on the empirical research results of this study,this paper proposes strategies to improve the job satisfaction of male teachers in primary and secondary schools:(1)Broaden the title promotion channels of teachers to improve job satisfaction.(2)Adjust teachers' work values to improve their job satisfaction.(3)Promote teachers' work-family enrichment to improve their job satisfaction.(4)Adjust teachers' boundary flexibility to improve their job satisfaction.
