The outline "point out:" sports curriculum is a college student in physical exercises as main means, through reasonable sports education and science of physical exercise process, achieves the enhanced physique, to improve health and improve their physical quality as the main object public compulsory course; is the school curriculum system is an important part of higher school sports; the central link. " So in the university to carry out the good physical education curriculum, promote the students' physical and psychological health becomes necessary.Track and field as a basic physical exercise subjects, in our country college PE course, had been occupied a very important position, but with the progress of The Times, many emerging sports rise diverted to the track and field events of track and field teaching share and project spreads and development have caused a unfavorable influences. Beijing area of university, whether in talent hold or teachers configuration are in the leading domestic level. The author selected Beijing area 20 universities as research samples, aiming at the university physical education curriculum in the track and field teaching contents, teaching, teachers and students both sides of the athletics teaching conditions of cognition, discussed. According to the survey results from the main conclusion is:1. Beijing university athletics teaching situation is not optimistic, its living space in Beijing university physical education curriculum zhongzheng gradually narrowing, by other sports challenges, the attention degree is declining dramatically, scheduling, was also many practices, the overall environmental degradation, nearly marginalized situation. Forty percent of respondents in colleges hasn't open track and field course, setting up the track and field course of college teaching goals are not clear, teaching content arrangement on a single comparison boring, much to run by the main and lack of special track and field teaching material, theory is ignored, class scarce, and these are track and field teaching course insufficiency.2. Athletics professional talents in the teachers'amount in the proportion is not high, "specialize in one subject", professional talents of lack of quality education limits the track and field. Other teachers itself of track and field understanding will be choosing insipidity, can hardly keep even not suitable for americans etc notion, bondage to the teacher's thought, and most of the teachers lack of enthusiasm, don't have better means to attract the students interest, the teaching way confined to professor routines and difficult to produce high quality courses.3. Students of track and field course of cognitive impression is negative, for the athletics have or basic identity, but to track and field course of cognitive have stayed the "insipidity is very tired of a campaign" so one-sided understanding. Even if is optional track and field course was only through credit and other purpose, not consciously participation.
