Every year, a large number of new teachers will entry to kindergartens. To be confronted with change of the age, development of the society, reform of the preschool education, they have characteristics of a new era. They are vital, courageous and creative. With an increasingly louder call for improving the quality of education, the issue of teacher's professional development has attracted increasing attention. Quality education needs high qualified staff. Preschool teacher's professional development is in the process of dynamic, sustainable pace. "New teacher" is the starting point of teacher's professional development which has great influence on their career. In this thesis, I choose the new kindergarten teachers with 0~3 years' teaching experience who are likely to feel puzzled and difficult in their professional development as subjects of my study.This research is based on literature study, questionnaire method and Interview survey, which portrays new teachers'particular emotion on open-class, analyzes the value of open class in promoting new teachers' professional development. After having analyzed the research data, we found the following results:It is generally believed that open class is an opportunity for new teachers to gain professional development, which can foster abilities of practice and self study, reflective competence and psychological quality. In addition, this text sets out from the characteristic and needs of new teacher, gives new teacher some advice to make full use of open class for self-development, and make suggestion for kindergarten assigning open class to provide the opportunity for new teacher to make progress. New teachers can bring up self-awareness and self-development capacity of professional development, learn self-evaluation and self-reflection, learn how to work together and seek help and support in the open class. Besides, Kindergarten should use reasonable allocation strategy and supportive lecture attendance, establish developmental evaluation mechanisms, and create a culture of research in open classes in order that new teachers can grow up in a cooperative environment...
