The Study Of Communist Moral Ideals About Students In The Initial Stage Of The People's Republic Of China

The 1950s is the important period.of the establishment of the Communist Party of China. Stemming from the stable political power need, the mainland have developed a series of practical movements, such as developing the land reforms, suppressing among the activity of counter-revolutionary and launching the movement against the three evils and the five evils since the foundation of China. The objects of these movements object are counter-revolutionaries,landowners,rich peasants,the intellectuals the working personnel of government offices and enterprises and the capitalist class.In order to integrate the social, CCP chose a relatively alleviation means to transform student's thought.And as the assistant of the party and reserve force, the New Democratic Youth League is a mass organization that help CCP to educate the young with the communist spirit.,So,the New Democratic Youth League developed a series of practical activity to establish communist moral ideals.and resist the corrosive influence of bourgeois ideology between 1954.10 to 1955.7. The contents of activity have changed along with the movements and public policy,therefore, the purpose of this propaganda education is to transform student's though the communist moral ideals.This paper will focus on the East China Normal University, trying to discuss this establishing communist moral ideals movements and show the methods and measures of CCP to purify student's thought.This paper is divided into 4 chapters, Chapter one mainly expounds the background of this establishing communist moral ideals movements,revealing the social reason why the CCP developed this movement;Chapter two sum up the publicity of this activity,which lay emphasis on the opposition between communist moral ideals and bourgeois ideology.Although the contents have changed along with the movements and public policy,.the main elements including loving the Party and the Nation is not changed.Chapter three expounds the developments of this activities.It can be divided into three parts,the early stages,the running stage.and the consolidating and mature stageThe author sum up the working characteristics of youth league in east China normal university into five main heads:developing and strengthening of responsibility of the League member, the education of authority figures,insisting "the education primarily.,punishes for auxiliary" principle, establishing moral model and Carry out various forms of mass cultural activities with the Student Union.In many ways,the propaganda education activities go down to the living and studying of students,making them support the CCP in spiritual pursuit.In the fourth chapter, the author focus on the different attitudes in different students and the effect of this movement.
