Study On The Problems Of Vocational Training For Migrant Workers

Under the background of the construction of people-oriented and socialist harmonious society, the party and the country given the special group of migrant workers a high degree of attention, the focus of policy support gradually transferred from the "protection of legitimate rights" to "skilled worker training". The Migrant Workers has made outstanding contributions to China's economic growth and urban development, their skill level and competence directly affects the social and economic sustainable development. The government has increased the intensity of vocational training of migrant workers in recent years, many regions and departments are vigorously carried out various forms of training for migrant workers, training on issues related to migrant workers has recently become a hot spot of researchers in vocational education. As new generation migrant workers gradually become the mainstay of rural migrant workers, they are increasingly expected to take part in vocational trainings to realize self-development. However, whether the current vocational training can meet the needs of rural migrant workers? what kind of training is Migrant workers really need? How to improve the current migrant laborers' training system to better meet the needs of rural migrant workers and promote their development? Based on the above, this paper tries to explain and analyse the problems of vocational training for from a view of their demands in order to perfect the vocational training system and improve migrant workers'competency and career development.This article mainly includes the following content:The first chapter is introduction. Mainly explains the background and reasons of choosing the subject, besides, the existing research foundation, the main content of this research, the research methods, the definition of core concept are involved.The second chapter begins with the relevant policy text about the vocational training for migrant workers, besides, the evolution of the policy process and the main content are introduced, according to the study of policy implementation on vocational training of migrant workers in Shanghai, the supply situation of vocational training for migrant workers are learned.In the third chapter, a questionnaire survey on the demand for vocational training of migrant workers is conducted, and the relevant factors of migrant workers' training needs are analyzed.The fourth chapter chooses from the perspective of migrant workers needs to find out the current problems existed in the vocational training for migrant workers, and analyses the dislocation and contradiction between the migrant workers' demands on the training time, training content, training expenses, training methods and training teachers and the supply of current training for migrant workers.Finally, in view of the current problems existing in the training, the article offers suggestions on improving the vocational training for migrant workers, based on the demand of migrant workers.
