At present, Identity has been seen as an analysis tool of big questions in educational theory and practice. Professional identity, especially in teaching learning and development area, has been a sub area of identity theory. Focusing on professional identity suggests that thinking about how rich experiences affect one's professional practice, the sense of value, belief and commitment. Teachers' professional identity is one important prospective of studying teachers'professional development. Teachers' understanding of his or her identity refers to his or her instructional efficiency, professional development, and the ability and attitude to deal with educational reform. Related studies at home and abroad haven't agreed on the concept of teachers'professional identity. Based on the questions involved in this study and referring to related literatures, this article illustrates teachers'professional identity from the five affects. Based on studies reviewed, this study explores the influences of teachers'professional identity, and provides the strategies and suggestions of improving teachers'professional identity, then suggests implications on teachers'professional identity and teacher education and teachers' professional development.This study is consisted of five chapters. Firstly, through literature review, this study traces the origin of teachers'professional identity and the research history of it at home and abroad, so the research questions and research significances are defined. The second chapter explores the environmental influences and individual influences of teachers'professional identity. In the third chapter, with the framework of Practice community, the author analyzes explores the way to realize teachers'professional identity-legitimate peripheral participation. Through the illustration of cooperative teachers'culture and teachers'reflection on his or her teaching practice, the fourth chapter puts forward the idea of constructing beginning teachers'practice community.
