The construction and reform of teachers in China is advancing day by day.As the reserve force of teachers,the training quality of normal students is directly related to the professional level of teachers,and the level of students' professional quality will also directly affects the quality of education.As one of the most important factors affecting the professional learning and development of normal students,professional identity is of great significance to both the acquisition of professional knowledge and professional skills of normal students and the improvement of their professional quality.Students' professional identity is not only directly affects their enthusiasm to professional study,also affects their attitude of teachers and their career choices.As a result,researching status of students' professional identity and its influencing factors is beneficial to improve pre-service teacher education to train qualified teachers for school education.University Z is located in the southeast coastal area of China where has a great power of economy and reform of school education is in advance.Moreover,University Z is a key provincial normal university which focuses on teacher education and has a tradition of cultivating normal students for more than 60 years.It has been selected into the excellent teacher training program and has trained large quantities of qualified teachers for local areas.Meanwhile,University Z also makes active exploration in training normal students.It has not only carried out assessment of teaching skills of normal students for a few years since 2011,but also carried out teaching skills competition and flipped classroom competition for normal students since2016.It's enough to prove that University Z lays emphasis on improving teaching skills and the comprehensive quality of normal students.It attaches importance to develop corecompetitiveness of normal students as well.At the same time,it shows that University Z is urgent to train the new-typed teachers and to explore how to train the new-typed teachers.Therefore,selecting normal students of University Z as research object,and to explore the present situation of normal students' professional identity and its influencing factors through the investigation,providing appropriate suggestions for University Z.In order to explore the influencing factors of normal students' professional identity,this study used the questionnaire to collect data.This research mainly includes five aspects.The first part is introduction,consists of research origins,research significance,definitions of core concepts,literature review,research methods,theoretical basis and research thoughts.The second part is research design and implement,including research objects,operable definitions of research variables,research hypothesis,questionnaire design and description and reliability and validity analysis of the questionnaire.The third part is research process and findings,including samples descriptive statistical analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The fourth part is research results and discussions,drawing conclusions through the questionnaire survey.The last part is countermeasures and advice,giving suggestions of training students for University Z.Through the samples descriptive statistical analysis,the independent sample T test,the one-way analysis of variance,the correlation analysis and the multiple linear regression analysis,the main conclusions of this research are as follows: Firstly,normal students' professional identity is at above-average level.Secondly,there has no significant difference in different genders and majors of normal students' professional identity.Thirdly,there has significant difference in different grades of normal students' professional identity.Fourthly,there has no significant difference in students with and without experience of educational practice.Fifthly,there is significant positive correlation between normal students' professional identity and professional reputation,activities support from school,curriculum provision,educational practice and enrollment motivation.And the standardized regression model has been obtained as follows: Normal students' professional identity = 0.328 × professional reputation + 0.301 × activities support + 0.212 ×curriculum provision + 0.115 × admission motivation + 0.096 × educational practice.Based on this research,in order to develop normal students' professional abilities to adapt to the needs of school education for University Z,propounding as follows: First,strengthen professional ethics education to enhance professional reputation.Second,enrich the types of school activities and highlight the attributes of normal university.Third,optimize the the structure of major courses and strengthen its features.Fourth,arrange reasonable educational practice and establish educational practice bases.Fifth,strengthen both the vocational ideal education and career planning education to confirm students' development direction.
