The paper describes a story of an career changer who wishes to go in for his elitist dream by case interview. Through exploring his career change process, the paper analyzes his career change characteristics and scoopes out the actual impact on him from the internal and external factors. According to the research of the vivid individual case, the researcher presents suggestions correspond with the individual, family and school to promote the career development.The dissertation comprises five chapters:Chapterâ… points out the problem, motivition, significance of the reaearch. Based on literature analysis,it also presents an introduction of the research plan.Chapterâ…¡mainly describes Mr. A's career process in study and work field.Chapterâ…¢analyzes key events of career process.Chapterâ…£analyzes related factors affecting career change. It focus on there factors:individual factors,family factors and social factors.Chapterâ…¤is the conclusion and introspection. It presents suggestions correspond with the individual, family and school to promote the career development.Through the research, the researcher finds out that Mr A has a distinct career change charateristic. His career change motivition is to pursue elite dream, but its road is always filled with dream and reality competition. Mr A'career change pattern is showed to be a typical ring pattern. The career barriers is composed with individual factors, family factors and social factors. There are three idividual factors, which include career power shortage, indirect behavior strategy, passive to change career value. The family factors include two parts, one is the different expectations from parents and grandparents, the other is the authoritarian family education. Social factors is the the impact of social change.
