Calculation teaching which is throughout the various links in mathematics teaching is an important part of mathematics teaching in the elementary school, Since ancient times in China, teachers have paid much attention to the students'calculating-skill training in calculation teaching, and they have achieved relatively good results, such as they summarized the calculation teaching model in the process of developments. In recent years, with the implementation of quality education, mathematics classroom teaching have developed further than ever before, we can see some successful changes such as they pay more attention to the student life, pay more attention to the training of the emotions, attitudes and values. At the same time, some problems are also appeared in calculation teaching aspect. Firstly teachers think that the students'computing power is very poor which affected the students further study. Secondly the students'number sense is not strong which affects the students'ability to solve problems, Thirdly the students rely much on the calculators. In an interview with teachers, I think the most important reason that the teachers feel confusing is that they have bias when they understand to the pluralistic value. Therefore, this research is based on the value of the development and change of teaching in the world. and reflects the value of the current calculation, emphasises the orientation of multiple value in calculation teaching.The first part of this paper introduces the research background, significance, ideas and methods;The second part elaborates the value orientation change in calculated teaching at home and abroad;The third part is the value orientation analysis on mathematics calculation teaching in elementary school, which is expatiated around the value orientation, influence factors, significance to teaching;The fourth part is the empirical research of the value orientation for mathematics calculation teaching in elementary school, introduces the investigation process from the purpose of the research, thinking, survey tools and implement aspects, and get the correlation between the pupil computing level and thinking, number sense, self-confidence etc.we can have thorough understanding of the bias to the value orientation for the elementary mathematics teachers by interview; The fifth part demonstrates the rational value orientation of mathematics calculation teaching in elementary school, and expounds from goal orientation and means orientation.The sixth part is closing.
