With the rapid development of computer technology, multimedia and network technology, as a representative of the information technology has changed people's life, study and work style with amazing speed. At the same time, educational informatization has become the standards for measuring a country's modernization of education. For this reason, IWB (interactive whiteboard) as an information learning environment has caused wide public concern in education when it was introduced in classroom. At the present time, IWB has received widespread recognition and praise from the students and teachers of elementary and secondary schools. And it will be extended and applied in large scale in our country. It is an urgent task to improve the quality of teaching and learning by making full use of IWB.This paper selects some teaching cases from intern school, according to the situation of teacher using IWB. Then it analyzes the classroom interaction by Flander's Verbal Interaction Analysis and realizes the present condition of IWB's application in teaching. After that, tries to analyze the views and opinions of faculty and students on IWB classes by means of questionnaire survey and after-school interviews. At last, it puts forward a few suggestions and reply strategies for improving the teaching effect in IWB classrooms, and it hopes to guide teachers'teaching in the after job. The basic framework of the paper as follows:In Chapter one, the paper expounds the background and significance of the teaching cases. Then it introduces the goal, meaning, the content and method of the study through reading and understands the current state of the IWB's application in the process of teaching at home and abroad.In Chapter two, some concepts related to the research are defined, and some basic theories related to the IWB's application are summarized.In Chapter three, the paper selects two teaching cases, and makes full records of the instructional design and the process of teaching. It provides good preparation for the later detailed analysis.In Chapter four, the paper analyzes the teaching cases at length. At first, it analyzes the class interaction by Flander's Verbal Interaction Analysis, and makes statistical analysis of the status quo of using IWB in classroom. Then it analyzes the questionnaires and after-school interviews. At last, discusses the advantages and disadvantages which exist in the classroom teaching integrated of the IWB.In Chapter five, after the detailed analysis, it offers some teaching suggestions for teachers. It hopes teacher can make full use of IWB as a media to optimize the teaching activities, enhance the class participation and interaction, improve the quality of teaching.In Chapter six, concludes the experiences and shortcomings during the research, and analyzes the existing problems in order to provide reference for subsequent research work.
