Research And Application On Classification System Of Educational Resources For Town And Village

Currently, there are no actual standards and methods to classify educational resources for town and village, because they have many differences from one another and show different types which make the resources so complicated. Besides, there are multiple users who like to access educational resources. All of these reduce the utilization efficiency of rural education resources and influence the duplication use and sharing of resources between regions. The paper studies the related standards and theories of resources classification, constructs the suitable classification models and classification system for town and village education, and selects the appropriate organization, description strategies to describe the classification system in order to solve the above problems. At the same time, it designs and develops a set of data dictionary for rural education resources classification system. And then the system is deployed and used in the platform of educational resources allocation and remote service for towns and villages which provide the basic service functions for the integrating, storage, management, statistic and searching of educational resources standardization. The main contents are as follows:(1) Searching some materials and websites and studying the related standards, theories, the development situation of rural education and the resources characteristics.(2) Referring to the classification standards of educational resources and putting forward the six dimensions models and hierarchical structure for rural education resources according to its characteristics. Besides, it sets the main contents of each category for the classification system.(3) Combined with the hierarchical and multi-dimensional characteristic of rural education resources classification system, choosing the suitable organization method and coding description strategies for them, and then encoding each category for rural education resources classification system in order to be compatible with the major standards of educational resources. (4) Making the classification system as data dictionary system which includes the total design, database design, all functional modules implementation and testing.(5) Deploying and using the data dictionary of rural education resources classification system in the platform of educational resources allocation and remote service for towns and villages which provide the basic service function for the integrating, storage, management, statistic and searching of educational resources standardization, and then proving the efficiency and utility of the system.Compared with the other researches about the resources classification, the features of this paper are as follows:it puts forward the six dimensions models and hierarchical structure for rural education resources. And then it sets the organization method and description strategies for the system which organizes the basic education vocational education and all kinds of training services and forms a large and comprehensive rural education resources classification system. The system includes 5 application areas,11 top education types,103 one-level classification,1290 tow-level classification,14000 kinds of courses, the complete three-level suitable objects contents,106 kinds of textbook versions,9 kinds of resources types,5 kinds of resources format and so on. Then it designs and develops the classification as the data dictionary system, deploys the system to the platform of education allocation and remote services for town and village which provide the basic service function for the integrating, storage, management, statistic and searching of educational resources standardization. All of these prove the efficiency and utility of the system.
