The focus of teachers professional development has shifted to improve teachers professional development which is characterized by improving the quality of professional practice. It has increasingly become the focus of attention and the contemporary one of the central themes of education reform. Social progress, scientific and technological development, implementation of new curriculum and changes in the structure of education personnel,put high school physics teachers more and more new requirements, but in reality there is still a gap between the actual professional quality of high school physics teachers and that. Therefore, studying how to promote the professional development of high school physics teachers is becoming a top priority.Learning the concept of change and technology advances, the unique value of online learning communities has been gradually taken by the people. This new way of learning creates an opportunity to provide academic, cognitive and interpersonal support for the learners to solve loneliness, lack of human interaction, emotional issues such as missing. This paper attempts to design a network learning community, to promote the professional development of high school physics teachers.This thesis first expounded the theory of networks learning community, including the the origin and development of "Community" concept, learning community and how to define the concept of networks learning community and the theoretical basis of networks learning community, which provides strong theoretical guidance to design a networked learning community.The thesis then introduces the theory of teachers professionalism, the status of teachers professional development, the meaning and characteristics of high school physics teacher development and the new requirements for them.The thesis focuses on the design of the network learning community to promote the professional development for high school physics teachers. First, from the perspective of instructional design I analysed the design strategy of network learning community; according to the objectives of the Community should achieve, I established the design principles; and based on this I build the the design model-including learners models and teachers models. This thesis introduces the software architecture of the network learning community, the main function modules including the resources management module, the public information module, the teachers world module, the collaboration management module, and the teaching resources module. The thesis explains the mechanism of these modules'functions. These modules provides services for the realization of the network community promoting high school physics teacher professional development. Finally, the thesis summarizes the research and presents the research gaps.
