With the continuous development of network informationization,the domestic practice of E-learning became more and more. The survey, however, found that the effect of E-learning was not remarkable and the quality of E-learning was generally low. Therefore it is not only the responsibility of educators, but also the expectations of many students to find an effective solution for the problem. Currently with the rapid development of the domestic network, there were a large number of online education platform. Moodle, one of them, attracted much attention because of its open source, free of charge and advanced ideas. So the majority of teachers and enthusiasts are involved in the design and development of the platform, and its function became more powerful. As a result, there were more and more E- learning based on Moodle. Therefore, the network learning situation based on Moodle was studied from the view of performance to improve the quality of student learning in this thesis.The current E-learning situation for students majoring in the educational technology in Hebei Normal University were researched by interviews and questionnaire survey to improve E-learning performance. According to the survey results, the paper revealed the current performance problems in e-learning, had in-depth research and analysis in the performance problem, and put forward the solutions. In the course of the study, the program to the E-learning performance problem were designed in the aspects of the knowledge acquisition of students, skills, attitudes and so on, which was based on Moodle with the the constructivist learning theory, system design theory and methodology of performance-based technology, and from the impact of environmental factors and personal factors. Through the implementation of the program and the interim findings of the feedback, the program were further improved and corrected. Finally, the results of the study were analyzed.The network teaching practice results in a semester show that the quality of E-learning of students was improved by using Moodle. It not only aroused students'interest to use the Internet for learning and corrected negative learning attitudes of students in past, but also enhanced the ability of students in comprehensive practice,such acknowledge acquisition skills, collaboration skills, ability to self-exploration, assessment, migration, etc,and then made students learn how to use these capabilities. Fundamentally it improved the E-learning performance of students using Moodle.Through more research and reading a number of papers, there is a deeper understanding on the domestic research of the performance technology in this research. But the study also has short comings, so the additional studies will be further follow-up. Hope that this research can provide a good reference to address the problems in the E-learning.
