Research Of Learning Analysis On Moodle Curriculum

With the continuous development of the network course in recent years, the data of network course platform is also in the rapid increase. Each person get step into the network platform will leave a lot of "digital breadcrumbs", how will these "digital breadcrumbs" used by analyzing and data mining according to a certain method to predict or teaching reflection, this topic become more and more interested by advanced education workers want to have a try about it.The content of the thesis is how to carry on the learning analysis on the platform of Moodle. The first is to introduce the Moodle platform module or plugins, study the module or plug-in which can be used for learning analysis; secondly is to study the Moodle database, because of all the learning data needs to be analysed are derived from the Moodle database, so this process is very important and hard, and it is also the basic to conduct the research; Then the learning analysis, according to the literature I have read, some studying behavior’s indicators is set up and then the study the learning analysis technology including the technology of data mining, social network analysis, content analysis, visualization of data analysis techniques and the tools are studied respectively, combined with the analysis of learning behavior indicators, thus form a set of relatively complete study framework in this thesis. In this framework, we should use different tool and different method to analysis different data. At the same time, there must be a working process or Standard Operation Procedure to guide the whole research. And at last I use data in reality and put it into practice, the framework and working process of this thesis can be reference for those who want to make a try about analysis on Moodle.
