The Investigation And Research Of The Current Working Situation Of Soccer Teachers In Universities Of Hebei Province

The PE education of college takes the responsibility of cultivating the competitive talents of 21 century. As one of the critical parts of the teaching system, teachers of soccer are in charged of fostering more useful people in preparation for the socialist construction, together with other educators. Considering the significant role the football teachers act as, we should concentrate on how to build a teaching group with advanced degree, improved ability of researching and high quality of educating. This is the root of the whole occupation of education, and it is also a feasible approach to our goal. For the sake of the better understanding of the general situation of soccer education in Hebei province, this article uses some standards to evaluate and analyze it.The thesis uses Document-data method, questionnaire investigation, and mathematical statistics. The subjects are the leaders of the department of public physical education, college soccer teachers and their students. All the subjects are selected from the whole thirty-three universities in Hebei province. The principle of selecting subjects is in this way: the questionnaires for the leadership, including the leaders of the department of public physical education and department directors of college football, is only one for each university on average; the questionnaires for football teachers are one hundred and forty-four pieces; student subjects, the number of which is four thousand one hundred and fifty-five, are selected by the method of stratified random sampling. After confirming the subjects, through investigations and research about their teaching abilities, professional skills and researching levels, conclusions have been made as follow:1.For the reason that the department of educational administration can regularly supervise the teaching conditions, college football teachers performed outstandingly in teaching programs, lesson preparation and other specific aspects. Besides, teachers also attach importance to the teaching assignments, trying their best to study and research.2.With the influence of the policy of evaluating standards, the title of teachers on both sides of the holistic structure appeared a little more than the proportion of the middle. Specifically, the titles of tutor and vice-professor are much easier to obtain than the title of professor.3.Despite of the fact that graduates accounts for a high proportion in the team of college football teachers of Hebei province, there are still a considerable number of teachers without a master's degree. The shortage of educators with high-level academic degree, especially the tutors who possess the master's degree or the doctor's degree, is a serious problem that needs to resolve.4.There is a phenomenon that the college football teachers in Hebei province emphasize the teaching of practical techniques, while neglecting the theoretical lessons of football.5.Considering the low requirements of English and computers when they were studying, college football teachers could not perform well in these two parts. When they were studying in college, CET and national computer test are not the essential assignments to accomplish.6.College football teachers have few opportunities to receive short-period trainings, which is one of the critical factors that impede teachers to renew their knowledge, develop their potential and improve their teaching abilities.7.The communication between college football teachers is not frequent and effective. This phenomenon is a disadvantage to the development of scientific research and the promotion of advanced teaching method.8.In general, college football teachers are not satisfied with their salaries and treatment. The proper improvement of their conditions can effectively encourage them to be more energetic and efficient in their works.
