| Following the spirit of "Health First", "People Foremost" guiding ideology, the chief tasks for the most of Independent Institute Football Education Instructors are how to improve the teaching quality, to promote independent Institute's football level, to develop the Football Optional Courses into school level and even provincial level quality courses, and to make theoretical research on course instruction and framework of teaching innovation. By using Independent Institute of Hebei Province as the research subject, this paper will make an analysis of the developing situation of the Independent Institute Football Optional Courses, and make corresponding development countermeasures. For making further investigation on the development model, and providing practice and theory evidence for the innovation and development of the Independent Institute Football Optional Courses, the writer integrates literature with survey and other research methods.Through analysis and research, the writer summarizes the following conclusions:1. Every Independent Institute of Hebei Province offers Football Optional Courses; almost all of them choose to offer the courses for one term long in the second term of first year.2. Instructional objectives of the Football Optional Courses are mainly followed the spirit of"Health First". Students would gain healthy physique and basic ability of football practice after completion study of practice skills and theory; they could also learn proper concepts about health and lifelong consciousness about sports. Teaching courses should make more effort on training students to integrate physique and mind, and on encouraging students to express and develop their personalities.3. The syllabus of the Independent Institute Football Optional Courses ismainly copied from the syllabus of the Alma Mater other than following the actual school situation. The selection of materials is also without having authority and practicability. Both the syllabus and selection of materials need to be significantly improved. 4. The teaching content focuses too much on passing tactics and lifting quality,but much less on how to develop emotional teaching and help students to develop the ability of mental regulation and social adaptation. Teaching method is over simplex, it cannot mobilize students'enthusiasm. Teaching evaluation is not rational enough to reflect students'learning attitude and progress range.5. Relatively poor teaching environment, big and mixed class situations bringgreat difficulties for the football instructors. Insufficient football field and equipments also have negative impact to students'passion for football classes.6. Compare to the students in general institutes, students in the Independent Institute has more distinctive characteristics; different characteristics lead to different expressions on the interest to the Football Optional Courses, study attitude and learning results.7. The structure of the instructor team is unbalanced. The majority are young teachers. There are few instructors with higher academic qualification, higher professional title, and more teaching experiences. Low wage level seriously affects the instructor's working attitude. |
