The master's program in physics didactics has been rapidly developed since 1983. Meanwhile, the education quality becomes a significantly important issue. Curriculum arrangement plays a crucial role in the master's program and is a key to achievement of the education objects and improvement of the education quality. This paper explores realities of the master's program, comprehensively analyzes the problems and reasons thereof in the methods such as literature review, surveys and interviews, and proposes suggestions for education improvement, aiming to provide a valuable reference to enhancement of the master's program in physics didactics.The main body of the paper contains three sections. First, a theoretical exploration is conducted to the arrangement in the master's program in physics didactics to provide a theoretical basis for the curriculum arrangement. Further, the article takes a discussion on the features of the curriculum arrangement for the master's programs in physics didactics that are collected from nineteen universities in the country. The writer conducted a survey in the form of questionnaires and interviews among the students in the master's program in physics didactics of six universities. Subsequently, the paper summarizes the problems and causes thereof in the current curriculum arrangement for master's program in physics didactics. Finally, several suggestions are provided to improve the curriculum arrangement in accordance with the basis and rules of curriculum arrangement, and present a new conceive of the curriculum arrangement.
