After the 5·12 WenChuan earthquake, many schools under the aids had moved to the new schoolyard in succession. The left would also remove before September 1 last year. These rebuilding schools have a common characteristic that is the educational technology equipment is much more advanced than before, some schools even come into the first-class in SiChuan province.However, besides the comfort, some questions have to be concerned:Under the environment of well-equipmented educational technology, do the teachers have the corresponding ability to make full use of the them? If not, what level do they in? And what measures should be taken to help them with the capability of educational technology? So how to improve the ability of educational technology for primary and secondary school teachers in WenChuan area of earthquake becomes the theme of this study. The theme are very important.First,this study brokes through the training perspective for improving the teachers'educational technology capability theoretically,and finding the influenced factors from a broader perspective, drawing the conclusion that the teachers'self-development ability on educational technology and the school attitude towards the ability also play the key role except the training. In practice, based on the survey of the region around WenChuan, this study proposes the corresponding improvement strategies which are excepted to have some realistic value.This article first adopts the literature research method, and finds a lot of materials on teachers'educational technology capability in domestic and foreign. It discovers that a lot of studies about WenChuan area on education after earthquake are about psychology.The studies on the development of teachers'Professional ability are very limited. Meanwhile, the exited studies about development of teachers'educational technology ability are mostly limited on training perspective which are relatively narrow and may ignore other key factors. Then with survey research method,the author visits five middle and primary schools and the local education bureau of four districts of the worst-hit areas by "5·12" earthquake:Du Jiangyan,MianZhu,MianYang and BeiChuan. With interviewing method, it gets the overall situation about the teachers' applying the ICT in class in WenChuan area after earthquake. For more extensive understanding, the author uses questionnaire mathod to do further survey.And it releases 120 pieces of questionnaires including 115 valid,with the effective questionnaire rate 95.8%.
