With the development and advancement of Elementary Education Reform of New Physics Curriculum in middle schools, a number of problems which need to be solved and teachers care most about, appears in the process of physics teaching. Through analyzing these profound reasons of difficulties in physics teaching, this thesis, according to the difficult and complicated problems in the physics teaching for middle schools, aims at improving physics teaching for elementary schools and cultivating prospective physics teachers in colleges and universities. These difficult and complicated problems are distributed into force, electromagnetic, thermology, optics and atomic physics and this thesis will discuss all of them respectively. After getting a full understanding of the difficult and complicated problems in physics teaching at middle schools in the five fields of Physics, this thesis thoroughly analyzes the factors for these difficult physics teaching problems so that it offers strategies and suggestions for physics teaching for middle schools and cultivating the student teachers for colleges and universities. As for data collection, this thesis analyzed and counted the documents which are related to difficult and complicated problems in physics teaching in middle schools and all these documents come from the nationally known journals and periodicals that are on the top five in China. Monographic study properly concluded the reasons of the physics teaching problems for middle schools by using the classic physics theories, education, psychology and other theories. Research conclusions are as the following:Difficult and complicated physics teaching problems are as the following:As for the force, the main problems are correlation of friction and elasticity is 13.3%, Newton's law of motion accounts for 10.0%, mechanical vibrations accounts for 7.6%, momentum conservation law accounts for 7.6% and the law of gravity accounts for 6.8%.As for the thermology, the main problems are change of state for matter accounts for 22.5%, internal energy accounts for 10.5%, and molecule size accounts for 9.9%, molecule thermal motion accounts for 7.5% and gravitation and repulsion between molecules accounts for 7.2%.As for the optics, the main problems are refraction of light (35%), light reflection (18%), rectilinear propagation of light (14%), interference of light (7%), and light dispersion (6%).As for the electromagnetic (including electrics and magnetic), the main problems are electromagnetic induction and its law (14.5%), analysis of closed circuit (10.8%), permanent magnetic field (9.9%), electromotive force and resistance (8.2%), basic feature of electric field (5.4%).As for the atomic physics, the main problems are photoemission (21.7%), energy level (13.8%), nuclear reaction (12.9%), atomic structure (10.6%), wave corpuscle duality of light (9.7%). Some other documents have also discussed teaching problems in special theory of relativity. The causes of the difficult and complicated physics teaching problems can be drawn through synthesizing analysis as the following aspects:First, the physical knowledge points are complicated and enshrouded. Second, the physics teachers lack of professional knowledge. Third, most physics teachers pay little attention to student experiment and demonstration experiment teaching and failure of experiment which also caused these problems. Forth, teaching methods of physics teachers are very singular and unchangeable, and improperly deal with knowledge points. Fifth, the teaching objectives are affected greatly by the lacking of thorough explanation, as well as lack of sufficient complement teaching materials for students. All above reasons caused the difficult and complicated physics teaching problems for middle schools in China.
