The national spirit cultivating of college students is the important content of the university ideological and political education. Our party and state has always attached great importance to national spirit cultivating of college students, the party central committee and the state Department had explicitly put forward the opinion that "to carry forward and cultivate the national spirit in-depth with the key of patriotism education" in The Opinion about Strengthening and Improving the Ideological and Political Education on Further, and stressed the need to put the national spirit education through the education and teaching process and to put it into effect in all aspects of talents cultivation. However, the current situation of social ideological and cultural fields has became the obstacle of the national spirit cultivating of college students. The development of the domestic various trends of social ideological trends and the continuous afferent of the foreign social ideological trends caused the current social ideological trend diversified situation. The diversification of social ideological trend can bring huge challenges to the national spirit cultivating of contemporary college students.
