In 2017,China proposed a curriculum reform aimed at core disciplinary literacy.In2014,China first proposed the concept of core literacy,and in 2016,it clearly defined the concept of Core literacy in China,and proposed that "the research on the development of Chinese students’ core literacy should follow the basic principles of science,times and nationality".For science itself,scientific spirit is its soul and commander.Thus,it is very important to cultivate students’ scientific spirit as a science course.So how to cultivate students’ scientific spirit? Because it is very difficult to measure the scientific spirit of students,the means to cultivate the scientific spirit of students is that teachers often reflect the scientific spirit in the teaching process.Textbook is an important link between teachers and students.The chemical history material in textbook is not only a good carrier to cultivate students’ humanistic spirit,but also an important condition to cultivate students’ scientific spirit and help them master scientific knowledge,as well as a favorable resource to help teachers create situations.By class using the contents of chemical history to embody scientific spirit the way,is to imperceptive influence students,is to the most effective way to cultivate students’ scientific spirit.First of all,the important concepts such as scientific spirit,chemistry history,discipline core accomplishment and textbooks are clearly defined.Secondly,after a thorough reading and careful analysis of the new textbook,the contents of the history of chemistry are found out,and then the contents of the history of chemistry are deeply excavated to find out the scientific spirit contained therein.Thirdly,by means of questionnaires,interviews and fields,the interest and opinions of teachers and students in the history of chemistry,the application of the history of chemistry by teachers in class and the embodiment of scientific spirit in the history of applied chemistry are understood.Finally,through the above investigation,problems are found,and suggestions are put forward to increase the contents of chemistry history in textbooks that reflect the spirit of critical questioning and courageous inquiry,and teachers should strengthen their own learning of chemistry history.Through the research on the content and teaching status of the history of chemistry in the compulsory chemistry textbooks of senior high school,the conclusions are as follows:most of the contents of the history of chemistry in the textbooks reflect the scientific spirit and are widely distributed in the whole text.Meanwhile,most of the contents of the history of chemistry are modern history,but the descriptions of domestic scientists in the textbooks are very few;the description of individual chemical events is too brief and brief;the embodiment of scientific spirit lacks critical thinking and the courage to explore the type of display.The educational value and function of chemical historical materials have been widely recognized by teachers and students,and most students like the content of chemical history very much,but teachers seldom tell the content of chemical history in class,and even fewer teachers apply the content of chemical history to reflect the scientific spirit.
