This paper took the reforming of the Beijing primary and secondary schoolsbasketball curriculum model as the research object and defined the concept of basketball curriculum model by the way of literature study, questionnaire investigation, expert interview and data statistics, etc. Through the analysis of the following five aspects:course objectives, curriculum background basketball education, course content, teaching method, course evaluation and teaching management, in the background of New curriculum standards, this paper attempts to shed light on existent insufficiencies of Beijing primary and secondary schools'basketballcurriculum model, causes of existent problems and put forward the optimization countermeasures, so as to provide references for the masses of basketball educators. Conclusions are as follows:Firstly, in the aspect of basketball course objectives, the New curriculum standards'goal emphasize "the health first" as the guidance, increasing the psychological and social adaptation's objectives on the basis of traditional basketball teaching objectives.Secondly, in the way of basketball course content, the New Curriculum standard asked teachers independently design teaching contents according each to level basketball teaching goal, rather than provided specific provisions. But Beijing primary and secondary schools'teachers still copy teaching content from traditional basketball teaching syllabus. It is necessary to enhance basketball teachers'sense of responsibility and mission, and.according to the specific circumstances of schools and students, design teaching content based on the characters of students and schools.Thirdly, basketball course management aspect, to compare the New Curriculum standard's requirements with current situation, certain disparity of teacher quality, student quality and hardware element exist in Beijing. On the one hand, this paper with aspect to teachers' management put forward the establishment of a scientific teaching evaluation index system and the idea of setting up folk intermediary organization; On the other hand, regard to student management, the paper came up with founding student basketball club; finally in the aspect of hardware factors, it is right to growingly bring books about basketball and conditional school should executes the network-based management.Fourthly, in the way of basketball teaching method, the minority applied cooperation, inquiry, autonomous teaching methods that the New Curriculum standard advocate, while the majority still use traditional tlak course. As a result, it is necessary to encourage teachers apply more in teaching practice, and regularly organize study visit to outstanding school. Moreover teachers did not make a difference among different students, and they still regard traditional administrative class for the unit as teaching organization form. Consequently, it is right to encourage teachers to design basketball teaching organization conformed to students'characteristics, according to actual conditions.The school should reward teachers who designed it well.5, Fifthly, in the way of the course evaluation, means of teaching evaluation in Beijing had some problems:the student's individual differences did not been considered; evaluation emphasize on biological function; evaluation content and the New Curriculum Standard's goal is disjointed; examination's methods was too simple to reflect facts. As regard to evaluation content, the thesis suggest to pay more attention to the students'individual differences, the students'progress in its magnitude and students'learning attitude. By the means of evaluation method, the paper put forward three principles:combination qualitative with quantitative evaluation; summative assessment with process assessment; Absoluteness evaluation with relativity evaluation.
