When high school students enter into university, they have their needs for belonging and love. They hope that they can get along with teachers and other students very well to get meaningful and happy life in this new environment. However, many factors contribute to the formation of sense of school belonging, some of them can promote the level of sense of school belonging, while others may only in the way. Generally speaking, sense of school belonging is a profound psychological experience and the formation of it usually takes a long term. Based on the previous research, this study chooses students from freshman to junior from E university as objects of study, by qualitative research method, analyzing the characteristics of undergraduates who possess high and low level of sense of school belonging, and summarize the influencing factors.The study indicate three factors:the will of choosing E university, the reputation of the university and the living environment will affect the undergraduates' level of sense of school belonging in the beginning part, and the will of choosing E university plays the most important influence. The academic and social factors are major two ones in all factors. Undergraduates value more about what kind of resources and conditions universities might supply, and whether they can make their personal development and promotions. The undergraduates also concern about if they could get along with teachers and other students very well. In particular, whether or not the undergraduates have some intimate friends affects greatly.Finally, the writer gives recommendations about how to improve undergraduates' level of sense of school belonging based on the influencing factors.
