"To train modern citizen necessary geographic literacy" and "to provide modern citizen necessary knowledge of geography" are required by the new reform of geographical curriculum. With the development of society, the opportunity for people to choose becomes more and more, and things that need people to make decisions also increase. Citizens of the 21st century should be the ones that can surely decision-making and should be able to make decisions. As an important part of human geography teaching, teaching decision-making in senior middle school is of great significance for students to develop the consciousness and ability of decision-making.The method of reviewing literature, consulting experts, analyzing cases and observation are used. Combining with the features of human geography, the thesis tries to construct the implementing steps of decision-making teaching and the applicable content of human geography which is suitable to use the method of decision-making teaching. And at the same time, specific cases are analyzed. Seven parts are included in the thesis.Part 1:The background and the significance of the research, the research status, research ideas, innovation and inadequate are mainly introduced.Part 2:The concept of the decision-making and choice, teaching decision-making, decision-making teaching and geographical decision-making teaching are mainly defined.Part 3:The theoretical basis of the application of decision-making teaching, such as Humanistic Teaching Theory, Constructivist Learning Theory, Subjectivity Education Theory, Theory of Man-land Relationship and Location Theory are mainly expounded.Part 4:The application of teaching principles and the implementation procedures of decision-making teaching are mainly discussed. The principle of decision-making teaching is open principle, subjectivity principle and the principle of interaction. And the implementing steps of decision-making teaching include 5 aspects, which are the creation of scenarios to determine the decision problem, the collection of data to present options, the discussion and exchange to understand the options, the analysis and comparison to form decision-making programs, the reflection of the decision-making plan to expand the knowledge of students. Part 5:Based on chapter 4, the study focuses on summing up the content of Bixiu 2 (Renjiaoban), which is suitable to use the strategy of decision-making teaching, and classifies into 2 types, they are the problems of the location and the migration and urban issues. And design the case about the two categories respectively.Part 6:Aiming at discussing the problems that should be paid attention to in decision-making teaching. The author suggests seven aspects of the problems should be paid attention, which are highlighting problem solving, narrowing the scope, concerning the process of nature, avoiding the subjectivity, emphasizing the flexibility, guiding the value, attending the skills, etc.Part 7:As the conclusion part, the basic conclusion of the study, the existing problems and future prospects of the study are summarized.
