For middle school students, doing physical exercises is a very important part for them to consolidate their knowledge of physics, develop their creative thinking and abilities.The paper adapts to the requirements of new curriculum reform of basic education, and offers an investigation about the current status of high school physics teaching.Most students can realise the importance of the physics exercises in the physics teaching. However, most students think physics exercises are only of great importance to the physical concepts and mastering the phsics laws, instead, it is of little use to develop the students'abstract thinking, to stimulate students'interest in learning and strengthen their will of learning.Students are not enthusiastic to participate in physical exercises.From the interview with some high school physics teachers, we can see, while the exercises in their teaching are carefully selected, its purpose is merely to ask the students to consolidate the knowledge and master the law.That is, they lay more emphasis on knowledge and skills inthree-dimensional target but neglect the training of students'mastering the process and methods, and emotional attitude and value.Thus, the writer proposes, to increase the effectiveness of high school physics teaching, teachers must strengthen the teaching goals of New Curriculum requirements, that is, "knowledge and skills","process and method","emotion attitude and values. "Combining modern educational theory, the author elaborates the basic theory of the effectiveness of high school physics teaching and does the research on the basic rules of the exercises based on educational psychology, methodology and pedagogy.Problem sets teaching is teachers' and students' bilateral activity, fully reflect the teachers' leading role and students' main role. This paper expounded from four aspects of improving the effectiveness of high school teaching physics exercises the strategy, first, the recognition of basic questions's explanation. Through the questionnaire survey we learned that most students hope teacher in the exercises recognition of basic questions when teaching the explanation. So, from the conceptual problem sets the explanation, the regularity of the explanation, the model problem expounded exercises explain how to implement the 3d object, achieve a better teaching effect. Second, teaches students the methods to solve the problems. This allows students to master the skills, experience physics problem solving the research methods. Third, the teaching process of standard demonstration and imitate. Through the questionnaire survey we learned that most students have exams for problem solving is possessed of normative experience. So the author in this detail understand physics problem should pay attention to what problems. The teaching process can through the blackboard writing demonstration, the standard answer demonstration, student standard three aspects of examination paper presentation students pay attention the normative solution. Fourth, in teaching physics exercises cultivate students' creative thinking ability.Through certain teaching practice, the students in physics problem sets are about and improve the learning effect. Displays in the following respects: the first, through teacher creating context and students' active participation, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the students, classroom atmosphere is active; Second, the teaching process teachers, make students attention standard demonstration solving normative significantly raise the question paper from students' several times it can reflect; Third, the teaching process through the inspiration, guides the student to independent analysis of examples, cultivate the students' ability of analyzing and solving problems. The teaching process through a topic multi-solution, one problem, ask questions to a training, cultivate the students' creative thinking ability.
