| Physical education is one of the most important parts of kindergarten education, as well as one of the most important ways to realize children's all-round, healthy and harmonious development physically and mentally. As is regulated in The Working Principles of Kindergarten, "the task of kindergarten education is to implement all-round education physically, intellectually, morally, and aesthetically to promote children's harmonious development both physically and mentally according to the principle of combining nursing and educating together." Physical education can not only play a role in children's body development, but also can make a difference in promoting children's psychological and social adaptability. However, among the applauds and laughter over the achievements made by researchers, quite a few problems which are destined to affect the implementation and further development of kindergarten physical education are discerned, which will consequently exert a negative effect on children's all-round, healthy, and harmonious development physically and mentally, hence the thesis.The research implements such research methods as measurement and investigation, choosing 6 kindergartens randomly from Hohhot, measures and investigates 120 children in the top classes in the chosen kindergartens, teachers of the children, the management staff of the kindergartens being studied, and some of the parents of the children being studied. The research aims to elucidate in four parts the current situation of the development of physical education in the top classes in kindergarten in Hohhot.The first part clarifies the current situation and deficiency in the activities adopted in kindergarten physical education through the mass analysis on literature review, thus paves the way for the perspective of the research, the selection of the objects and the research methods.The second part focuses on the exhaustive and objective investigation and analysis on the current situation of the development of activities adopted in the top classes in kindergarten in Hohhot through the following three aspects:views on children's activities in physical education; courses on children's activities in physical education including teaching objectives, contents of the course, the organization and implementation of the course, course evaluation; the resources of children's activities in physical education including time, space, instruments and outlay.The third part aims to find the problems in children's activities adopted in the top classes in kindergarten's physical education and its possible causes by referring to the problems discerned in children's physical development in the top classes in kindergarten in Hohhot.The fourth part deals with the reform strategies adopted in kindergarten physical education activities in Hohhot taking into consideration such ideas of lifelong physical education, happy physical education, etc. The strategies are elaborated, in four aspects:firstly, to innovate people's attitudes towards value on children's physical education activity and therefore build the awareness of general physical education; secondly, to consummate the course development of current physical education activity in kindergarten; thirdly, to realize teachers'development in education and teaching in children's physical education activities; fourthly, to explore the implementation and exploitation of kindergarten physical education activity resources.In general, the research devotes to find the theoretical and operational solutions to the problems found in the physical education activities adopted in the top classes in kindergarten in Hohhot, hoping to provide more reference in the implementation and development of future activities in the top classes in kindergarten. And appeals to kindergarten teachers to convert their views on physical education and work down-to-earth in their teaching practice. |
