It becomes more and more important that students exhibit positive changes towards learning behavior in the classroom teaching as the curriculum reform of elementary education deepening in China. That is due to they eventually have to be carried out in the teaching process as well as be embodied in the learning of students irrespective of how to update the teaching notions and overhaul the course contents.The main methods adopted are as follows:literature methodology, survey research, case study, class observation. We sorted out the existing research findings at home and abroad with regard to the classroom learning of students via literature investigation, which provide systematic and theoretical foundation for this project. The paper get access to the data concerning the status quo of junior science studying and we figure it out through the survey of status quo pertaining to science learning of junior middle school students. Meanwhile, we probe into the origins of disparities between top learners and students with poor performances by means of class observation.The study concluded:â‘ The learning behavior of junior middle school students in the scienee teaching class was not active in general, which lingered at a misconduct stage and had room for improvement.â‘¡Based on the analysis of attention dimension, learning motivation dimension and learning strategy dimension, the learning behavior of junior middle school students in the science teaching class tend to be improper. From the perspective of statistics and analysis of learning attitudes dimension, it was positive.â‘¢The scoring differences between boys and girls over learning behavior were not significant, in which the performance of Grade 7th students was better than Grade 8th students and Grade 9th students, and the students in key schools were more active than peers in ordinary schools.â‘£tudents with excellent performance in the science subject were born with both intrinsic and extrinsic factors simultaneously.We fathomed out that good achievements in the science subject is a joint result bolstered up by intrinsic and extrinsic factors.The paper put forward some proposals for students given the foregoing:stirring the internal motivation to learn science, making optimum strategy of learning in the science curriculum. And also some suggestions for teachers:attaching more significance to enlightening teaching, stressing combination of teaching and learning method to train students to gain the caliber of self-access learning, guiding students to employ appropriate learning tack, vitalizing and maintaining students' external learning motivation.
