Along with the rapid development of information technology, wide spread of technology of educational information, active promotion of popularization of higher education, the influence of educational technology is contributed to enlarge continuously in every social field, in particular, it witnesses a rapid development in higher teachers colleges. Under such a circumstance, some problems are inevitable to occur simultaneously, such as, unclearness of major orientation and inappropriateness of courses. Concerning with higher education, the curriculum is the core of teaching. It will directly affect the quality of cultivation of professionals whether the setting up of curriculum is appropriate or not.This study uses methodology of literature analysis and questionnaire. The writer selects an M higher teachers college as a sample research object, making a questionnaire analysis toward the needs of professionals of educational information technology in its located area, and the state of study as well as the need of undergraduates of major of educational technology, according to the concrete situation and developing tendency of this college. With regard to the existing problems regarding its undergraduate curriculum setting of educational technology, it is a necessity to construct a systematic framework of the unity of knowledge and practice, which is suitable to undergraduates of educational technology of this college, and it also, provides some references for the cultivation of professionals and development of disciplinary.This paper consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 and chapter 2 present a research background, meaning, methodology, and a general description of literature review related to the study of curriculum setting of educational technology abroad and home. Chapter 3 is a research analysis, investigating the needs of professionals in provincial primary and middle schools which are located in the area of M higher teachers college, and the study of undergraduates of educational technology of this college to analyze the existing problems. Chapter 4 is a main analysis of results of the investigation, constructing a system of the unity of knowledge and practice from the perspective of undergraduates'knowledge and faculty, and offering some suggestions to its curriculum setting of educational technology. The last chapter is a research conclusion, and aims at indicating some insufficiencies of this paper as well as further orientation of study.
