Born with creativity, the earlier develop creativity, the better effect according to the rule"ability to decrease". So at pre-school stage if teachers develop creativity properly for children, they will grow well. However, if teachers develop creativity inappropriately, it will erode the children's capability, personality and so on. The painting teaching is an effective way to develop pre-school children's creativity. This study will explore how to develop creativity of children, based on the pre-school painting teaching.According to the survey of the kindergarten teachers, the Children's Palace teachers, the university scholars engaged in research and children's art bookstore for children's drawing book in Shanghai, this study fund that children follow the teacher's shape like'follow suit'type of copying teaching methods in the kindergarten and interesting groups in society. Also, Bookstores provide painting books for children learning which both are majority in painting and copy.Pre-school stage should be most imaginative and creative period. However, in teaching painting, this "follow suit" teaching methods usually lead to weakness of the child's nature, stifle the child's imagination and creativity. Therefore, the author designed four lessons to practice in teaching kindergarten. These practices are , , and . The purpose of these lessons is that the author tries to explore the way to stimulate children's imagination and creativity through edifying and leading of teaching methods. This research shows that there are eight teaching strategies to develop creativity, which are expanding the scope of experience, maintaining interest, guiding visualization, evaluating positively, individualizing, playing of the process, designing curriculum lowly and presenting of information.
