In Chinese Children’s art teaching, the children’s paintingalways plays an important role.It is easy for children to operat.It uses free and informal methods. This kind of paintings arepopular with teachers and children.To promote the children’s drawing,it isgenerally believed that it helps to cultivatethe imagination of children.However, it is not difficult to find that teachers can’t arouse children’sfree imagin-ation.Instead,they limit and kill the children’s imagination inchildrenpainting teaching.In alot of works and exhibition of children’s painting, We can’t see children free imagination, but adults; In a variety of teachingmaterials of children’s painting in the bookstore, we can’t seehowto inspire and mobilize studentsto imagine, but all sorts of blunt,conceptual copy... Such problems emerge in endlessly. In the children’spainting teaching, what role should the teacher play? In order to really cultivatethe children’s imagination, what kind of teaching strategies andtactics should teachers use?Which is more important? Is it teacher’s training or childrenfree unlimited imagination? How to grasp the scale to makefull use of children’s imagination and creation? We should attach great importance to this problem. Through a lot of literature research,this paper analyses the education research resultsabout Children’s art education at home and abroad, combining withthe teaching case analysis. Then it puts forward the demonstration teaching optimization strategy which cultivates the imagination of the children specifically. It strives to provide teaching demonstration reference and experience worthy of promotion for the teacherswho teach children’s painting. This article is divided into six chapters altogether. The first chaptermainly is the traditional arts teaching demonstration analysis, it introducesthe art demonstration method types, valueand weakness and the problems in the children’s painting demonstration method. The second chapter presents the basic train of thought forchildren’s painting demonstration teaching optimization. Through innovating children’s painting demonstration teaching principle, the children’s painting the demonstrationoptimization strategy is propose:limited display demonstration strategy, guest demonstrations, criticism, demonstration, and workout teaching experiment. Chapter Ⅲ islimited display demonstration strategy, it introduces the characteristics,how to implement and teaching experiment. Chapter4guest presentation demonstrations strategy, it introduces its characteristics, how to implement and teaching experiment. Chapter v criticism strategy demonstration, it introduces its characteristics,how toimplement and teaching experiment. Finally, it is summary, it points outthe traditional problems and the basic ideaof optimizatio.Then diversedemonstration teaching strategies are put forward.
