With the developing of market economy and the reform and openness,there is a great development in Chinese consumption level;meanwhile, the reform and openness also have a great effect on peoples'consumption concept. As a result, great changes happened in peoples'consumption concept. Being a special social consumption group, college students'consumption values and education have to be enhanced at once. The related investigate show that college students'consumption values have some special contents,such as promotes personalities, emphasize development and pursuit vogue. On the other hand, it also has negative aspects, for example, lay too much stress to human, blind show of the comparison, hope to enjoy earlier and preference finished with namely throw.The reasons which result in the negative tendency of college students'consumption values come from three sides, social, college and family. This tendency may be harmful to students themselves, their families, colleges and the society.It is an important way to help the college students develop truly consumption values by enhance and improve the education of consumption values. It should teach contemporary college students develop consumption values accord with rule consumption,safe and healthy consumption,timely and measurable consumption,civilized consumption and sustainable consumption. Further, it must be enriched with the related educations about consumption values, include world view, philosophy, values, struggling, economy, financing, and interpersonal interaction and so on. It is also need to expand the educated ways about the education in college students'consumption values, means improve classroom education; inhance the construction of college culture; joint social education together with family education; promoting student's self-education.
