Along with the deep thought of thinking science, as well as mathematics education development, to develop students'ability of thinking in image will become this century's hot spots for educational research. Primary school children active in the development stage of thinking in images, we believe that the development of thinking in images is essential in childhood. So the pursuer choose the research objects come from the primary school children, and the research content about the construction of primary school children's mathematical thinking ability in images, the development features and effective factors . So,it has certain theory meaning and realistic meaning.This research adopted EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis) and CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) ,study the construction of primary school children's mathematical thinking ability in images , the development features and effective factors, and then further to give some teaching advice on the basis of the research .The fundamental suppositions in this research are :(1) There is an independent thinking in image's construction in the mathematics ability structure of primary school children , and this is the set-out point where thinking in images representation , association and synthesis begin . (2) There are age or grade features in the development of their mathematical thinking ability in images. (3) The factors that affect their mathematical thinking in images are complicated. The research combined quality analysis with quantity analysis, by using literature search, observational method and questionnaire method, we draw some conclusions as follows: 1. Primary school children's mathematical thinking ability structure in images consists of 4 factors: plane imagination ability, space imagination ability, quantities and graphics transformation ability, thinking comprehensive ability.2. Their mathematical thinking ability in images develops along with the growth of the age and there exists certain stage. Pupils from specific image thinking as the main form gradually transition to abstract logic thinking form, but this kind of abstract thinking to a great extent, is still directly associated with perceptual experience, still has a great composition of specific image.3. The study also shows that the improvement of math ability is helpful to improve their mathematical thinking ability in images. Gender has no obvious effect on the development of mathematical thinking ability in images, but the girls'ability level slightly higher than the boys'and gender has obvious effect on some factors. Teaching level has an obvious effect on the development of mathematical thinking ability in images.
