On Vietnamese Li Dynasty's Confucian Education

Education development goes abreast with nation development, to develop education its means to develop culture; education achievement decides each nation's future. In Vietnam, education under Li Dynasty was considered the beginning of Vietnamese education history, so that, it made an important position to establish Vietnamese education's character. The thesis focused on studying Vietnamese Li Dynasty's education and Chinese Tang, Song Dynasty's from comparative perspective. Since, the two nation's education that time were not only mean Confucian education but also included others factors as Taoism, etc, we deployed the study objectives from two perspectives as general education and Confucian education.After Chapterâ… which introduced the reason for choosing this object, the purpose as well as the meaning of this studies, the internal and external situation in research on the same matter related to the matters, etc, the following part would be expressed by 3 Chapters as below:Chapterâ…¡titled"Vietnamese Education Position before Li Dynasty"focused on Vietnamese education during the period of domination by northern invaders.Chapterâ…¢titled"Confucian Education under Li Dynasty". This chapter's role was the main content of study object. It went into the details of Li Dynasty's education structure as school system, educational thought, civil service examination system, etc. Then, make a competition with Chinese education in the period under Tang, Song Dynasty to find Vietnamese Li Dynasty Confucian education character.Chapterâ…£- the last chapter of thesis titled"Some issues relatives to Li Dynasty Education"focused on three main points. The first was some special forms of Vietnamese education under Li Dynasty as three religions examination (Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism) and its changes under the following Dynasty as Chen, Li, etc. The second was on biography of Li Renzong emperor who was accredited with developing Vietnamese education under Li Dynasty. And the last was on the influence of Ly Dynasty's examination system of Vietnamese education history.
