Taking the factory F in Jiangping Town,Dongxing City,Guangxi as the case study,using in-depth interviews and questionnaires to collect data on the basis of the field research,the author attempts to depict legitimate Vietnamese workers working in the Chinese factory through a large number of fieldwork ethnographic materials and how the Chinese factory manage them.In addition,it puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures for the problems that exist.In recent years,with the growth of processing trade economy in the border areas between China and Vietnam,labor force contradiction has become prominent.In 2016,China and Vietnam officially launched cross-border labor cooperation,and some industrial parks in Dongxing City,Guangxi became pilot projects of cooperation.The factories began to absorb Vietnamese labor through legal procedures.Factory F is a typical Chinese factory with border trade processing and production,this factory mainly processes frontier aquatic products and agricultural and sideline products.The social network inside the Vietnamese workers are the main methods for them to enter the factory,economic income,geographical proximity and the pursuit of self-realization are the motivations for them to come from their hometown to work in the Chinese factory.The working and living condition of Vietnamese workers in the factory shows some characteristics,and the factory also have special management strategies for Vietnamese workers.There are still some problems in the survival of the Vietnamese workers in the Chinese factory,and the manager of the factory are also faced with some confusions in the management.This thesis puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures against the problems and confusions existing in the factory: local government shouldimprove the health insurance system for Vietnamese workers,reduce or exempt the tax of Chinese factories and adjust the "Foreigners' Entry and Exit Permits" policy;the Chinese factory should strengthen the training of Chinese for Vietnamese workers and optimize the dormitory kitchen facilities if Vietnamese workers.There are many advantages in the use of Vietnamese workers in the border areas between China and Vietnam.To recruit Vietnamese workers and make them feel relieved to work and live in Chinese factories,both local governments and factories must make efforts.
