Teaching Chinese has a long history in Vietnam,especially with the increasing cooperation between China and Vietnam in various aspects in recent years,Teaching Chinese is more widely used in Vietnam education system.According to general education theory.Teachers,students and teaching materials are the three basic elements in teaching activities.They are independent and interrelated.According to German educationist Herbert,teaching materials not only define the task of teachers’ teaching,but also the task of students’ learning.Teaching materials are the real cores of teaching process.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is no exception.Teaching materials are the basis of teaching.At present,although there are many kinds of Chinese Textbooks in Vietnam,there are few high-quality Chinese textbooks,especially in high school.At present,there are two sets of Chinese learning materials used in Vietnamese high school.The first one is "Chinese Ti ong Trung Qu(?)C" written by the Ministry of education of Vietnam,with 7 volumes in total.The textbook is suitable for the students of junior high school for four years and senior high school for three years to learn Chinese.However,due to the outdated purpose and content of the compilation,there are many deficiencies in the compilation style,which is not in line with the current Chinese teaching requirements in Vietnam.The second is the textbook of Chinese as a foreign language,which is compiled by Beijing Language and Culture University of China.In Vietnam,the Vietnamese version is used.There are three volumes,each of which is divided into two parts.This textbook aims at zero basic Chinese learners,pays more attention to the cultivation of learners’ language skills,and can also adapt to the high school students who are going to China for undergraduate learning for Chinese learning,so it is widely used in high school and adult Chinese learning.However,the textbook is not written for Vietnamese students,so there are many deficiencies in Vietnamese students’ Chinese learning,such as.The arrangement of pertinence,pronunciation,grammar,vocabulary,etc.At present,Vietnamese high school students choose Chinese as a foreign language learning course,its main purpose is to go to China for undergraduate study,or to engage in the work of Chinese Vietnamese language translation and language exchange in the future.Therefore,when choosing Chinese teaching materials,Vietnamese high school still chooses "Chinese course".This paper mainly expounds the formation of Chinese learning craze in Vietnam and the importance of Chinese learning from the narration of Chinese learning history in Vietnam.It leads to the comparison of the use of two teaching materials in the current Chinese learning of senior high school in Vietnam,and explains the rationality of choosing Chinese course from the comparison.Then,through investigation,it analyzes the use of Chinese course.Finally,according to the two sets of teaching methods This paper compares the merits and demerits of the compilation of the materials and the problems in the use of the Chinese course,and puts forward some suggestions on the use of the Chinese course and the compilation of the Chinese textbook in Vietnam.
