With the promotion of cosmopolitan teacher professionalization trend, teacherprofessional development in China has gradually become the focus of teachereducation's research since the end of 1990s. It greatly promoted the establishmentof teacher education and administration of new ideas and new system. The teacherprofessional development is not only teacher things, but also influenced andrestricted by the complex education system. In the process of promotingprofessional development of teachers perfect system plays important role inresource allocation, incentive constraints and value orientation. And the missingone will lead to stagnation and even the end of the process. Therefore, seeking toincrease the promotion function of the system through the analysis of the system ofteacher professional development and its implementation is very necessary.In the beginning, the author briefly summarizes the documents of teacherprofessional development research in our country in recent years. At the same time,the definition of concepts are regarded as emphasis in this section, such asoccupation and profession,teacher professionalization and teacher professionaldevelopment, the meaning of teacher's professional development also be stated.Following discusses the system factors influencing teacher's professionaldevelopment from government. This paper focuses on teacher professionaldevelopment in the history of evolution and the current lack of existing system andmakes recommendations. Finally, this paper states the author's values of teacherprofessional development systems selection and basic principles that teachers'professional development consistent with the development of students, teacher,school, social as well as the pursuit of efficiency, fairness and justice, functional complementarities for achieving the goal that promoting the professionaldevelopment of teachers.
