Research Strategies On The Status Quo And Development Of The Rural Sports In Tianjin

Sports in rural area is an important part of China's socialist sports, and the development of Sports in rural area is bound to further increase rural productivity, promote social stability, and establish a harmonious social environment. With the continuous progressing of building well-off society, the living standards of farmers are improving constantly. Since farmers'growing demand for health, sports and fitness will play an important role in the spiritual and cultural life in rural areas. Making Marxist philosophy as the guiding ideology, seeking truth from facts of Historical Materialism, this paper will discuss the Social phenomenon of sports in rural areas from the development perspective. Through documentary data, questionnaires, expert interviews and other methods, we will investigate and analyses the Status quo and development of rural sports in the sociological perspective by the analysis of farmers'participation in physical activity status, fitness activities in the content and form, sports venues and times, sports consumption, understanding of sports concepts, and so on. By further discussing and exploring, we hope to contribute the modernization of the rural sports with the purpose of making it adapt to the development of the times and the harmonious progressing of sports in the rural areas in Tianjin.Conclusion of the research:(1) Site and economic conditions have been a major constraint; (2) most people have a strong sense of exercising, but they don't have any guidance related to sports; (3) there is a gap between the sports situation and expectations of the farmers; (4) There are many sports that can select but the population participated in the sports is relatively small; (5) the implementation of the policies is not so good and there need responding regulatory norms. Research strategies:(1) Increasing investment and expanding the project site; (2) serving people's livelihood and improving the organizational system; (3) coordinating the development and implementing relevant policies; (4) stepping up publicity to raise sports awareness; (5) strengthening the rule of law and the establishment of the regulation system.Tianjin, as a rapid developing municipality in urbanization, has a total of 12 agriculture-related districts and counties. By the analysis in this paper, we will conclude that the development situation of rural areas in Tianjin is not optimistic, which doesn't match with Tianjin's image of international metropolis. This paper will look for effective approaches on the status quo of rural sports in Tianjin for the better overall development of Tianjin, and offer advice to lay the research base for rural sports development.
