This article intends to search the source of improving women's status by the interaction studies between women group and social background. "patriarchal society" concept exists only in the general study of feminist research which has been seen as the culprit of low status of women by feminists. As long as"patriarchal society"exists, women's status will be lower and lower.In fact, it is still male-dominated society today,but women's status has been proved to be improved steadily, and in some fields female-strong exists . In the past, the feminists is in the pursuit of gender equality, while now what they pursue is the fair of gender. This article uses"social capital"embedding in social network to measure gender status. In the progress of analyzing the improvement of women status, this article divides it into social areas and family areas. Social areas include the political area, the economic area and the educational area.In the economic area and the educational area,women's status is being improved steadily while in the political area women's status is getting volatile , even gets backwards. This article argues that the institution plays a key role. The discoursing of the family area mentions about mate choices and family affairs. It has been found that the lower status in the family of women is the result of rational choice."Self-seduced"is the factor that women's initiative can be happen and it is different from inherent factors. Since the male dominated society is not completely eliminated today, women still can find ways to improve their status through their own efforts. Otherwise, as the disadvantaged group in gender stratification, women can still improve their status in certain cases through the uses of reverse advantage.
