The paper is beginning with the family status of the rural women of hui nationality using social capital theory, adopting quantitative research and qualitative research, makes descriptive study on L village in Hui Nationality Autonomous Prefecture, Linxia, Gansu province. The author tries to use social capital theory to explain the family status of the rural women of hui nationality. Because of the limit ability of the author, this study is main to survey women in L village of Linxia in Gansu, from the perspectives of the women's having and using social capital and the family status of the rural women of hui nationality, hoping to find out the women's having and using social capital how to impact their family status.The article refers to the theory of the woman's family status and social capital theory, adopting questionnaire survey to do the research. It wants to discuss the impacting degree of the social capital to the woman's family status and other factors.The study, firstly measures the microcosmic social capital of the rural women of hui nationality, using"position-generator"to measure interviewee"important festival communion network", from this to reflect the center social network of the rural women of hui nationality. Secondly, the article researches the rural women of hui nationality how to use their social capital in the family affairs. On the basis of having social capital, whether the rural women of hui nationality can rationally use their social capital to realize the independent status, the decision-making status and the dominance in their family. Then from this three parts to measure the family status of the rural women of hui nationality, reflecting their true status. Based on this discussion, analyzing the impaction of women's statistics of population and social capital to their family status, including correlation analysis between the two variables.
