Research On The Effectiveness About The College Student Political Education Under The Modern Media Environment

Media environment is an important part of the political educational environment, especially the formation of the updated media environment marked by the appearance of the internet, which has brought great change to both the college students and the society. The development and prosperity of the mass media to some extent reduce people's source of information. As the increase of people's dependence on mass media, the influence and penetration of the media environment on the public are becoming greater. Under this circumstance, the practicality of the ideological and political education for college students has been sharply weakened. That what should be done to enhance the practicality of the ideological and political education for college students becomes the research-worthy issue under the modern media environment.The new media environment brought with it opportunities and challenges on the ideological and political education in colleges. Convenient and flexible media environment provides the ideological and political education in colleges with new educational means and carriers, while confronting the rapid development of media environment, many educators in the ideological and political education field still prefer the traditional paradigm methods, which exposes the lag of the ideological and political education work. Under the modern media environment, if the ideological and political education of college students simply tries to restrain and passively avoid the negative factors, the ideological and political education for college students will be sharply weakened. And it will be more and more difficult to achieve breakthroughs in ideological and political education under modern media circumstance, which is to be an important exploration to carry out this research.The thesis will be divided into three chapters: chapter one, the relationship between Media environment and the ideological and political education of college students, introduces the concept of media environment, the unique features of media environment and the relationship between Media environment and the ideological and political education. By introducing the media environment and the formation of modern media environment, the thesis illustrates the main features of the modern media environment; Chapter two, the present condition of the ideological and political education, through the effect of modern media environment on the ideological and political education for college students, this thesis is going to eliminate the problems and errors in the ideological and political education under the modern media circumstance. This chapter mainly introduces that some of the problems and difficulties to adjust in the ideological and political education for college students under the modern media environment lie in two aspects mostly, embodied in sole educational method, and wrong angle of cognition respectively; chapter three, Strategies and Methods of doing well in Ideological and Political Education under the media circumstance, focuses on solutions to the issues raised in the first two chapters. On the basis of school education, this part is to explore three aspects: firstly, improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education by improving ideological and political education workers'concept and awareness; secondly, improving college students'ability to adjust to changes of the media environment through strengthening their media literacy education; Finally, providing the base for ideological and political education in colleges and enhancing college students'capability of taking part in the construction of the modern media environment.
