Since the curriculum reform was launched in 2006 in Zhejiang province, the version of English textbook published by people education press was put into use among the students. When teachers use the textbooks in their teaching practice, they will be faced with many problems, and only if we research their views on textbooks can we find the solution to the problem because teachers occupied a critical position in the curriculum reform and practice. Based mainly on the evaluation and feedbacks, this paper carries out a study on regional adaptability of NSEFCSB (New Senior English for China Student's Book), with an intention to discover the existing problems and weak points. Through the study, we get an insight into teachers'views on the textbook, which will provide the textbook writers with some helpful suggestion and improve the quality of textbooks.A quantitative approach is taken in this study, and the data was collected by distributing questionnaires, and analyzed according to scientific methods and come to a natural conclusion. The study is carried out from a micro-perspective, being divided into object, content, structure and methods, covering many facets of curriculum standards, such as basic knowledge, basic skills emotional attitude and value, learning strategies and cultural awareness and comprehensive object of application of language. From a micro perspective, we can get a deeper insight into the specific content of the textbook, avoiding the generalization and ambiguity. The questionnaires were distributed to teachers of different schools, age and grade, avoiding effectively the one-sidedness and guaranteeing the quality of questionnaires. Moreover, we stick to the principles of integrating theory and practice, and take the approaches of bibliography to provide a theoretical basis of the study.The study has found that the NSEFCSB has a great adaptability to Ningbo local education as a whole, but specifically speaking, problems are found, which demand the reform and improvement. Such as some people found that the content is too much for students to swallow, and the grammar are too difficult to understand, for the grammar points are not arranged systematically and consistently. Since the module is introduced, the inherent sequences of content are weakened, so does the consistency of them. Moreover, the object, content, structure and methods are obviously supported by teachers, on one hand; it shows the common problem share by all the teacher of today. On the other hand, it shows the difference between them. In one word, through the study, we have a comprehensive and systematical teachers'view of textbook, which will provide some helpful examples and experiences for the practice of curriculum reform in Ningbo city. Based on this, we proposed some suggestions and questions open to discussion with the final objectivity that we can improve the quality of English teaching and compile some textbooks which are tailored to the social development and the need of students.
